When the World Bank did a study to enter India, it chose Chennai ultimately to set up its operations. And Chennai real estate classifieds has recently emerged as the most attractive city for offshoring services, according to a survey by A T Kearney, global management consultancy firm. The cities have been benchmarked on three major categories like financial costs, availability of skilled manpower and business environment.
The city is home to major automobile industries and a telecom corridor to the west of Chennai real estate classifieds is opening up new opportunities for development.
South India in the last six months, according to international property consultants. A number of realty funds are currently monitoring the market scenario for strategic partnership with local players. At least three integrated townships are being planned on the corridor which will provide home to 2 lakh people likely to be employed in the coming months.
