The Leader Bank Pavilion is an open-air concert venue on the Boston waterfront, at 290 Northern Avenue in the Seaport District. It seats approximately 5,000 and is open between May and September, with water and city views behind the stage.

It has a long history of live music across rock, pop, hip-hop, country and jazz — Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel and Paul Simon among the acts that have played there. The site also has restaurants and bars, which makes it a destination for dining as well as a concert.

What was the Leader Bank Pavilion called before?

The venue has carried five names. It opened as the Harborlights Pavilion, then became the FleetBoston Pavilion, the Bank of America Pavilion, the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion, and since 2021 the Leader Bank Pavilion. Each change followed a change of sponsor bank rather than any change to the venue itself.

All five names are still in circulation on old tickets, in directions and in search results, which is why they are listed here rather than quietly dropped. The photograph above is from 2005, when it was the Bank of America Pavilion — which is also why the image file still carries that name.
