If you ever wonder where your water comes from you should visit the Waterworks museum in Boston. Look at the remarkable machinery, the massive wrenches that kept the pumps running, and the beautiful architecture.
Tours are approximately 30-45 minutes long and free of charge.
Admission to the museum is FREE, however, they encourage a $5 donation to support the Museum's educational programs.
