NICHOLS HOUSE MUSEUM

Nichols House Museum

57 Mount Vernon Street,
Boston, MA

If you're curious about what the inside of Boston's historic Beacon Hill looks like, your in luck! Or if you're interested in Boston history, textiles, antiques, preservation and family dynamics, this is it.
This museum offers a unique glimpse into 19th and early 20th century Bostonian life in a historic Beacon Hill townhouse.
This house belonged to Rose Nicols, who grew up in that house as a girl. She never married, and kept the house until she died in 1960. She then gave the house as a museum for other people to enjoy.
