If you like to learn more about the history of streetcars (trolleys) and railroads, the National Streetcar Museum located in downtown Lowell, is the one for you. They have interactive exhibits and displays (many old photos, tickets, turnstiles and other trolley paraphernalia) and volunteers that will answer any questions you have. And before or after you visit you can hop on one of the National Park Services' trolleys for a free trolley ride!
The museum is open on Saturdays & Sundays from 11AM-4PM, year-round.
